Open to an individual or any size of practice. This award will celebrate a professional architect or architectural technologist that has used an offsite approach as a successful and defining aspect within a completed building in the UK. Emphasis will be given to the technical and creative reasons why the particular material or system was specified and how this was communicated within the project team and delivered in the final concept. Particular note will be given to the use of digital construction techniques, integrating the principles of circular construction and futureproofing, imaginative design and creative ways to problem solve and how offsite manufacture has been used to inspire future building design, within a framework of budget, project deliverability and timescale.
