This award seeks to find a contractor of any size with the scope and vision to adopt an offsite approach successfully to deliver sustainable, cost-effective contemporary buildings of any type, from conception to completion.

Working seamlessly with the offsite supply chain, ensuring client satisfaction, excellent health and safety, methodical and reliable working practices with proof of commitment to sustainability, circular economy priciples, social value and understanding the wider offsite agenda are essential.

Entrant Questions: 

1. Describe how the offsite technology and construction supply chain that you have been engaged with has maximised the potential of offsite methods and employed best practice from early involvement to project delivery.
2. Describe how the selection of team members, supply chain partners and offsite technology were chosen based on long term value, knowledge and expertise in offsite methods and sustainable mindset – not just price.
3. Demonstrate how the offsite construction model was used to improve project outcomes in comparison to traditional construction, e.g. use of digital construction technology and tools//BIM, factory manufacture, site delivery and installation.
4. Describe how the contractor and wider project team was integrated so that the client perceived they were dealing with a single entity and that offsite construction was the right approach and choice of system/material.
5. Give FIVE key reasons why your work and approach are exceptional and should be considered as the best example this year. Can it be seen as a future example for others to follow, has it provided a unique and innovative building solution compared to traditional construction for the client and team members?
