Entry Criteria
Central to all successful projects are collaboration and clear communication between people and organisations along the supply chain and delivery team.
Entries can be an individual or a project team and can have worked on single/multiple site, large and small-scale projects – in both footprint, scope and budget. They must display a clear understanding of applying offsite technology to deliver a smooth, streamlined project,
The winner will have displayed a wide-ranging set of personal abilities and skills including product/system technical knowledge, team management skills, organisational and problem-solving expertise and the ability to direct and deliver a successful project/scheme to completion to achieve client objectives.
Particular note will be given to those overcoming any unusual construction sites, difficult planning requirements and diverse groups of people.
Entrant Questions:
- Explain how the nominee (s) worked within the project’s critical path and identified ways it could be better managed and delivered to meet the developer/client expectations.
- Describe the innovative processes and collaborative working methods used across the project, e.g. enthusing team members, inspirational leadership, enabling better working methods, an original, innovative and/or tailored approach.
- Demonstrate how the individual or team maintained project momentum, monitored project team performance and maintained high quality across complex tasks, people and processes deliver the project smoothly.
- Describe how the understanding of offsite technology has made a real difference in delivering the project and demonstrating how overall project efficiency levels can be substantially improved e.g. team training and guidance, skills and knowledge transfer, streamlined supply-chain management.
- How has working with an offsite solution impacted on your wider understanding and knowledge of offsite manufacture. Has it improved your collaborative team and organisation as a whole – what long term effects have taken place and have you undergone any cultural changes following your work with an offsite-led project?
