From supermarkets, restaurants and coffee shop, to shopping centres and fitness centres, this award is open to large and small-scale projects – in both footprint, scope and cost – that has employed offsite construction and methodology from initial design to final completion. Entries must display a clear understanding of how to apply offsite technologies to deliver a sustainable, energy efficient and cost-effective contemporary building that enables the client to achieve its corporate vision – aesthetically and in a scalable way. Particular note will be given to overcoming restrictive/unusual construction sites. Projects must display a clear understanding of how to apply offsite technology and explain how they have displayed innovation and worked collaboratively to help the client achieve its corporate vision whilst demonstrating how cost-predictability, economy, accuracy, transportability, speed of installation and principles of factory manufacture have been achieved.
