Dr Mila Duncheva drives economic growth in the UK and Irish mass timber markets and influences policy on behalf of Stora Enso. She supports developers, designers, and construction stakeholders in applying the Sylva™ kit of parts across extensive project portfolios, promoting innovation and sustainability in timber construction. Mila’s current focus includes enhancing biodiversity within sustainable construction supply chains. She actively supports the industry’s transition to net zero carbon through her roles as a Governance Board Member at Built Environment – Smarter Transformation and as an Advisory Board Member on the Irish Timber in Construction Regulations Working Group.
